You see my school doesn’t allow gum and i was caught chewing gum… so my principal tells me to write a full page report on gum and how it affects our economy.. but the thing is, i research the topic and find so many things about gum being a good thing that i dont see the issue of chewing gum.. sure some kids may stick gum underneath desks and stuff but you know what? If the teachers were to pay more attention and catch the people who are irresponsible with gum to make them clean it up then there’s no problem. Teachers should pay more attention then they do.

I’m looking for men’s rights, too. I had an interesting time at the library trying to find a book about men’s issues. In fact, I wasn’t able to find a single thing until a few days later I happened to stumble upon a book called “manhood in America”. It still isn’t exactly an expose’ on the issues facing American men. In the scanty research I’ve done so far, reproductive and child custody rights seem to be at the forefront of men’s issues, but I’m having a hard time finding more than that. Also, though I do love body-acceptance/feminist blogs like Shapely Prose, I can’t find a single one for men. It’s like people think that men don’t face the same sort of body image issues that women do. I’m a brand new blogger and my focus is inequality in America. I’d like to write about men’s issues, and if you’re interested, visit me and leave a comment with some ideas on what I can address.
